So close I can feel it...

24 days. Less than one month. 3 weeks.

That's how soon we will be boarding a plane, headed to Mombasa, Kenya, where the Lord has called our team to share the beauty of the Gospel with people who may have never heard His name. My mind is blown. Having never been out of the country, my mind nor my heart can wrap around what I will experience in a short 24 days. The team of interns have already arrived in Mombasa, and looking through their photos I can already feel my heart stretching to embrace the wonderous beauty of it all - the beauty of the country, the beauty of each and every smiling face, and the beauty of the work He is doing there.

As the days dwindle, the Lord is teaching me more and more every moment. I am blessed to be at a place through the summer before I leave where I can spend every precious second growing in Him. It is in these days that He is teaching me, unbeknownst to me, the skills I will need for the plans He has for our team and myself this summer.

Over the past 5 months, the Lord has provided unending support for our team and His purpose. So many people are supporting us both financially and spiritually through prayer, as both are greatly needed. Having absolutely no control over the amount of support I recieve, it has been a humbling blessing to see the way the Lord has provided for me to go to Africa this summer.

Being a Senior at Texas A&M now, it is an almost daunting task going into this summer and the Fall semester seeing nothing more than the door the Lord has opened directly before me. Over the course of the past semester, the Lord solidified His plans for my life in my heart and my mind - I will be working with women in rehabilitative missions. However, I know nothing more than that is what He has called me to do. I am fully believing that this summer, He is going to clarify is plans for me past the next year; whether it be continuing onto my Master's degree, or joining The World Race and traveling the world to share the gospel for 11 months. Nevertheless, despite what may or may not be revealed, I know my God is greater than all my fears, and has a beautiful plan for my life as He promise in Jerimaiah 29:11.

Please continue praying for our team as we prepare our hearts, minds, and luggage to leave the country in 24 days. We are believing for divine intervention, recieving hearts in the people we meet, and safety throughout the course of our travels and stay in Kenya. Also, please be in prayer for the team of interns that are already in Kenya as the Lord uses them to share His gospel daily.

Thank each and every one of you for all that you have done to support our team. I truly pray that God may richly bless you.

This shan't be the last you hear of me!
